Google's 3 stars and a sun!

Today marks the day Filipinos threw the yoke of centuries of foreign oppression, may it also signify the beggining of the end of the tyranny that grips our beloved nation.

Ako ay Pilipino
Buong katapatang nanunumpa
Sa watawat ng Pilipinas
At sa bansang kanyang sinasagisag
Na may dangal, katarungan at kalayaan
Na ipinakikilos ng sambayanang
Maka-Diyos, Makakalikasan,
Makatao at,
Makabansa.

I am a Filipino
I pledge my allegiance
To the flag of the Philippines
And to the country it represents
With honor, justice and freedom
That is put in motion by one nation
For the love of God, nature,
people and
Country.

THANK YOU GOOGLE!

It is a tragedy that most American students don’t realize that the United States embarked on aggressive policies of imperialism largely to compete with the European powers expanding their reach globally. Many probably do not know of Emilio Aguinaldo who led the armed resistance against American occupation following its annexation from Spain after the Spanish-American War. Aguinaldo survived to become head of state and lived to 94 years of age until his death in 1964.
